The video present the artistic trajectory of Marisa Cornejo focusing on the transformative impact of migration on their body of work. Danniel’s research looks at the experiences the artists’ had before and since their move from South America to Europe. Through interviews conducted in the artists’ mother tongue, the research navigates the challenge of translation and ethical considerations inherited in cross-cultural research. By documenting the artists’ personal narratives, development, reflections on migration and work conditions, this videos aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the intersectionality of migration and art.
